I leave a 6 v battery’s negative pole connected to the inner and the outer spheres of my water charging kit. There is no current being drawn from the power source while it sites in this ambient mode. My aluminum fitting is in direct contact with the outer sphere. I have the rubber tube you have me.is this the tube containing metal? I noticed a mesh embedded in the rubber.Is this the metal which you’re talking about? I am considering using steel bx cable sheathing as transfer tubing also.

I peeled off the shoe goo (didn’t bond well with the steel at all) and rebuilt my car kit using silicone sealant instead.

Finally got a glass vase that will fit my joe cell but it is too large to submerse my second stage water so I’ll be restarting the charging process again.
