I am always looking for new ways of making healthy desserts. I avoid using sugar and wheat for any cooking that I do, which makes it difficult to make dessert!
I discovered this recipe a few years ago.
Ingredients you will need:
-Almond butter (make sure it is doesn\’t contain any added sugar)
-Quick Oats
-Raw Honey
-Carob powder
-Shredded CoconutI could never write a cook book since I prepare everything by adding pinches of this and pinches of that.
You can mix these ingredients together, starting out with adding a a bit of quick oats, a tablespoon of raw honey, and a sprinkle of carob powder. If your mixture is still too sticky, add more \’quick oats\’ until it reaches a consistency that you can roll into balls. Make sure you test taste to see if it is sweet enough for you. If not, add more honey.
You will then roll these into small balls, rolling them in shredded coconut when finished.
Refrigerate and enjoy!
